Why do you sell some work on Etsy and some work directly through your via email?
As an independent artist and small business owner, I want to keep my prices reasonable. In order to do this, it's helpful to purchase directly through me using my email: email@example.com through email money transfers (if within Canada) or Paypal if international. Although this isn't as convenient as an instant cart option, it also helps me to keep my prices low. I know my clients appreciate me passing on the savings.
Do you accept commission requests?
Yes, we accept commission requests! You provide the essential elements you would like to have in your personalized piece (colours, ephemera, personal photographs, objects and other memorabilia that reflect the receiver of the finished piece), and we will infuse our artistic vision to produce a piece that will reflect an extension of the receiver’s life story, tastes and inspirations into your customized piece.
We aim to make these pieces affordable and work within your budget to complete a piece you will be proud to display. Please understand that it is always desireable to give artistic license to an artist when creating commissions. If you like the artist's portfolio, you can be assured you will be happy with your personalized finished piece. We let you request your chosen elements, and we create the final composition.
